Due to our clients’ requirements and timeframes, only candidates with eligibility to work in New Zealand will be considered for this role. Key Responsibilities: - Installing passive fire protection systems such as fire-rated walls, ceilings, sealants, collars, wraps, and barriers according to specifications and compliance standards.
- Interpreting and following architectural and technical drawings to ensure correct placement of fire protection materials.
- Measuring, cutting, and fitting fire-resistant materials around service penetrations, joints, and structural elements.
- Applying intumescent coatings and fire-stopping products in accordance with manufacturer instructions and regulatory requirements.
- Ensuring all installations meet local and national fire safety codes and building
Requirements:
- A 3+ years’ experienced as Passive fire protection installer
- Strong understanding of fire stopping systems,products, codes, and regulations
- Ability to read blueprints,passive fire designs layout, and technical documents
- Strong communication skills and a customer service-oriented attitude
- Own tools and reliable transportation preferred
